Where to Play Padel in Brisbane & South East Queensland

Padel is taking off in Brisbane — here is where to play and what it costs.

Padel is taking off across Brisbane and South East Queensland. Courts have opened on both sides of the city, and the warm Queensland climate makes it an easy sport to play year-round.

Where the courts are

Brisbane's padel venues are spread around the city — you will find courts in the western suburbs and out toward the airport, with more of South East Queensland coming online steadily. Our Brisbane court finder lists the venues we know, each with an address and a link to book or visit.

What it costs

As elsewhere in Australia, you pay per court per hour, usually with off-peak rates that are easier on the wallet. Shared between four players it is an inexpensive way to spend an hour, and most venues hire out rackets for a few dollars so you can try padel before buying anything.

How to book

Venues take bookings online, and "social" sessions — where you are matched with other players — are the simplest entry point if you do not have a group of four. Just turn up and the venue sorts the rest.

Getting started

Bring court shoes, light clothing and a racket. The Queensland sun is no joke, so a hat and water are worth packing for outdoor courts. New to the game? The beginners hub walks you through the rules and scoring, and the racket finder quiz will help if you are ready for a racket of your own.
